AT&T City Center

Hello! Welcome to another post of Brayden’s Architectural Adventure. Today’s topic is, give me a drumroll, the AT&T building in Birmingham, AL!

This place was built and completed in 1972, it was called the South Central Bell Building. It was the headquarters for South Central Bell, and its five-state operating territory. At around 1998, it was renamed  the BellSouth City Center after completing an $80 million renovation. Bell South merged into AT&T, and its name was changed AGAIN to now be called the AT&T City Center.

Tell me in the comments below what you think I should do next. See you in the next post. ⬇
